Mitch is a licensed teacher in both Saskatchewan and Ontario. Currently, he is a vice principal in northern Saskatchewan. 

Additionally, he is a sessional lecturer with Niagara University and the University of Saskatchewan in their teacher preparation programs.

Mitch holds a Bachelor of Science (Lakehead University, 2013), Master of Education (Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador, 2018), and Bachelor of Professional Studies (Niagara University, 2020).
